Vikram Rastogi is a Graduate Assistant working in the Study Abroad Office of Eugene Lang College, and is currently studying for an MA in International Affairs at The New School for Public Engagement. After studying International Studies at The University of Arizona and studying abroad in Brazil and Turkey, he served as an Education Volunteer with the Peace Corps in Mozambique. BIO: |
Aleah Coy is a Graduate Assistant working in the Study Abroad Office of Eugene Lang College, and is currently studying for an MA in Anthropology at The New School for Social Research. During her undergraduate career at SUNY University of Albany, Aleah studied abroad d in Copenhagen, Denmark and Amsterdam, Netherlands through the Danish Institute for Study Abroad studying prostitution and the sex trade. Since then Aleah has been a strong advocate and supporter of studying abroad and experiencing the world we live in. She hopes to encourage more students to take the time out and experience a study abroad program while the opportunity is available to them. BIO: |
Erin McCarthy is a Graduate Assistant working in the Study Abroad office of Eugene Lang College, and is currently studying for an MS in Nonprofit Management at The New School for Public Engagement. After completing a self-designed BA at Antioch College, she spent the next 5 years in Washington DC as a public school teacher. She then moved to Paris, France to study French and teach Adult ESL students. Following that, she joined the Peace Corps as a TEFL trainer in Northwestern China. To date she speaks French, English and Chinese and is currently studying Brazilian Portuguese. Erin is looking forward to aiding students who are interested in studying in both French and Chinese speaking environments as well as researching new opportunities for them to do so all over the world. BIO: |
Jonathan Midgett is a Graduate Assistant working in the Study Abroad Office of Eugene Lang College and is currently enrolled in the Graduate Architecture program at Parsons. He holds a Bachelors in Metropolitan Studies from Towson University. Jonathan has studied and explored many places abroad, particularly within Scandinavia and other areas of northern Europe. He began his studies in architecture at the Danish Institute for Studies Abroad in Copenhagen, Denmark, and has done several field studies in Finland and Sweden. Outside of his academic career, Jonathan has worked as a Community Engagement Specialist for Jubilee Baltimore, a non-profit community organization in Baltimore city. Jonathan has also worked as a research contributor and writing intern for Powerhouse Growers, an organization geared towards finding new ways for sustainable design and urban growth. |

Kimberly Mimbs is a Graduate Assistant working in the Study Abroad Office of Eugene Lang College and is currently studying for an MA in International Affairs at The New School for Public Engagement. During her undergraduate career at Kennesaw State University in Georgia she traveled to Bucharest, Romania for a three month internship at the U.S. Embassy. While there she wrote a paper on U.S. - Romanian relations since the Romanian Revolution. This internship completely changed her life and she believes that everyone should experience study abroad, whether it's a traditional study abroad experience or a nontraditional one like hers. She has also traveled to Italy and France. Kimberly's goal is to work for the State Department as a Foreign Service Officer and travel the world while helping people. She is here to help with any of your advising needs! |
